The film Homeless to Harvard is a very inspirational film, and im sure it has help motivate lots of people to keep pushing no matter their circumstances to be successful. My favorite part was when Liz got an A- on one of her papers in school when she was in high school, and went back to her teacher to fix it so she can get a better grade. I would have been ok with an A-, but that just shows how dedicated she was to be the best and work her way out of her depressing situation. I believe I would be as resilient, because loosing everyone I love and having nothing would be extremity depressing and i would not want to just live with that and be a depressed homeless person. Even with all the hard work I believe i would push myself to be successful.

Yes i agree. Liz was determined to get the best grade possible. That if she was going to do something, she wanted the highest grade possible.
ReplyDeleteThat's good, you should always push yourself no matter how hard the circumstances may be. The harder and more you push yourself the closer you get too success.
ReplyDeleteThat was a really good part of the movie. It shows how much determination she actually had. I agree, loosing everything kind of forces you to have to be resilient if you want anything better for yourself. I think if it came down to it I would be too, but maybe not to where I made it all the way to Harvard.
ReplyDeleteI agree that her dedication is what got her to Harvard and if everyone was as dedicated as she was then we would live in a better world because she set her mind to something and she accomplished it.
